Thinking of how to write about this for a long long time and finally, I managed to post this up

When I’m small, my mum used to tells me,
"Insurance ar? no need to buy wan lar.. this is for those rich men to buy wan, we so poor no money to spend dun mention about insurance lar and we so healthy seldom see doctor also.. better use those money to buy clothes lar.. ".
Of course, she used to purchase Insurance before but stopped paying for it when once we have some financial problem. After sometimes, recent years, my mum says,
"You better go buy the insurance".
I looked quizzically at her for she is the one who teaches use that insurance is nothing more than a scam and now, she changed her mind. She even go to the extend to introduce me the insurance agent. There are reasons behind this. Through these years, she was looking at those relatives of mine who got sick or have accident and stayed at those expensive hospitals for the best treatment. They don’t have to worry about the medical fees because they got to claim the insurance.
Then my mum think, if (touch wood) any of my family member down with some serious illness, where are we gonna find money to pay for the medical treatment? by then, she starts to realize that insurance is the ONLY answer. Now, my parents are getting old and when human gets old, there are more defenseless towards sickness. I realise if (touch wood again) any of my parents got sick, how I get money immediately for the medical treatment? My salary is low and my sis doesn’t have any saving while my brother still studying. How we gonna go through all this?. So, the only solution is we subscribe the insurance plan for the whole family member. I think my parents REALISE of this matter earlier than me for they not only willing to pay the higher premium (for older adult), they also done all those horrible body checkup, just to make sure they are not burden to us.
Buying insurance isn’t only for yourself, but it is for your love ones.
and on another notes, it is better to buy at younger age for the premium is more affordable..
